3.5I liked the first book in this series better, but still enjoyed this one. I will say that this one was a little too sugary sweet with all of the characters and seemed to lose the badass vampire vibe from the first book. I was a little disappointed with Ryu's character and how he was acting because I didn't get that impression of him from the first book, but that goes back to the sugary sweet feeling. I did like the friendship that has developed between them all and liked how Daniel's character was developed more in this book. I want to continue reading to see how things end up and if the author goes back to the kick ass vampires from the first one.
