Deep in the Count - Madison Parker 3.5
Captured with His Pregnant Mate [Luna Werewolves 1] (Siren Publishing Everlasting Classic ManLove) - Marcy Jacks This was a little different, Luna werewolves who can change into an alternate form. There really wasn't much about the mpreg aspect of the book, kind of wondering if it will continue into the next book since it wasn't resolved in this book. Besides there being a lot of sex in this book, more sex than plot, it was a different take on shifters so slightly interesting. I will most likely read the next in the series to see if there is more plot related story and less sex to decide if I will continue.
Secret Smile - Cassidy Ryan 3.5 - short, but really enjoyable.
Making it Personal - K.C. Wells The blurb pretty much sums up this story, Blake hires an escort service on his birthday and ends up sleeping with the PA he is interviewing in the morning. These two were good together, nothing earth shattering, but all in all a good read, hot sex, pretty likeable characters, with the exception of the girlfriend. Glad the author put in the epilogue, really rounded out the whole story.
Beyond Duty - S.J.D. Peterson Older, hot, alpha males without any over the top drama or angst. Loved that we got a full length book with these two.
A Marrying Man - Sandrine Gasq-Dion 3.5
Heart of the Race - Mary Calmes 2.5

While this was a good story and maybe because it was a short story, I just felt that I missed something with Varro and how he came to his realization. There just seemed to be something in the middle missing for me. Maybe because we didn't get his point of view, I don't know.
Cleanly Wrong - Mell Eight 4.5 Stars - What an absolutely delightful read. While this wasn't the normal romance type book that I read, it has far surpassed a lot of books that I have read lately. Wonderful characters and an equally wonderful story. Thanks to Tailtiu for recommending it to me and reminding me that I still needed to read it.
Burden - Annmarie McKenna 3.5

Is it wrong to have wanted more of a story involving the attack kittens? I liked the story and the first half of the book was good, but with the book being short, I just felt that everything just was too rushed. I really would have liked to learn more about Brennan or even an epilogue that would show how his recovery went. I really enjoyed his character and would have loved more about him. I didn't mind Keegan and I think if we had gotten to know him more in the story, my feelings for him would have grown. While he was a little overbearing, I think he would have been good for Brennan's overall recovery. I do think that the insta love was just too fast. While I seem to accept it more in paranormal books, in this setting it was just a little over the top.
The Paramedic and the Writer - RJ Scott 3.5 - Another enjoyable read in this series.
His Roommate's Pleasure - Lana McGregor 3.5
Disasterology 101 - Taylor V. Donovan 2.5
I had a very hard time getting through this book. It just seemed to move at such a slow pace with not much going on to really move the story along until the last 15% of the book. I just could not get into Kevin or Cedric and found it very difficult to see them as couple. Kevin just seemed to take everything Cedric dished out and was just way to understanding, it made me not really like his character too much. I stuck with the story because i wanted to see how things would turn out and even found the ending a little bit of a disappointment. I believe in people overcoming and dealing with a disability, and while I do not know anything about OCD or have met anyone with that condition, I didn't find Cedric changing to be around more people, especially a room full of children and handling it with no problem realistic on how his condition was described from the beginning. If he has had this condition all of his life and it has effected him so much, I don't believe that just because he loved someone and considered them safe, his OCD would change. I don't know if it was because this book seemed so long to get anywhere or what, but once again it appears that I am in the minority in not liking the story.
Seeing Red - E.L. Esch, Fiona Jayde still to review
Demolished - Astrid Amara I have read several books from this author and have yet to be disappointed. Demolished just adds to that. This story starts off very strong and keeps going from there. The story is very engaging and along with the romance, you also get a mystery all intertwined together. I would have liked the ending to have been stretched out a little more to really see the fallout, but was still satisfied.
Improves with Age - Lavinia Lewis This was a sweet story about getting a second chance at happiness. Shame it was so short, but the author did well giving a complete story given the length. I did like that the characters were older.
Love, Like Water - Rowan Speedwell 2.45 stars

While this was a very well written story (and had cowboys), and had a slow burning romance with some angsty parts, there were just some things that I ended up having a problem with that took away from the story. Eli calling Joshua "son", way too many times, made him seem like he was closer to Tucker's age than Joshua's and I just kept picturing an older man in my head, it was just weird. Unfortunately as much as I wanted to enjoy this story, I ended up really disliking Joshua. Especially when he just up and leaves Eli when he really needed him the most. I realize that he had gone through hell, but I really didn't want him to end up with Eli, he just came across to me as a self-absorbed person.
