While I wasn't real thrilled with Carl in the earlier books, I did end up liking this one, but seemed to round out the series for me. This one was more focused on Carl and Egill, but we still get a glimpse of the other main couples from this series. It seemed that a lot was glossed over with this one and things that were detailed more in the other ones, weren't in this one, but still an enjoyable read.
