2.5For the most part I did enjoy this story, the whole shadow world concept was interesting. I realize that this is the first book in the series and there was setting up with the world and the players involved, but there was just too much going on and it was little too much. I was a little disappointed because it seemed like the last part of the book was just rushed and then it ended. I realize this is so the reader will continue with the 2nd book, but I prefer a book to end and not to be left hanging.
