I really didn't know what to expect from this book after reading the blurb. This was a pleasant surprise and was a very sweet romance. I really enjoyed how Rue, Erik and Dusty were there for each other and Alice and created a family that worked so well for them even if it is not what some see as a typical family. They were each so different, but fit so well together. I didn't think that Rue being the flamboyant bartender/hairdresser and Erik the shy, reclusive geek would fit together, but it work so well and they both complimented each other. I hope that we may get a follow up book and get Dusty's story and see how these guys end up.
