This book was completely different from anything I have read before so I was not real sure what to expect. Fantasy books and books with religious undertones are not ones that I normally read. But, from the beginning I was drawn into this world that the author created that was both intriguing and believable. I enjoyed how the author created two separate stories within one book, but still intertwining them and tying everything up with the epilogue at the end. The two main characters, who are so different and wrong for each other, end up so right together and create a friendship and bond that can make them survive anything for each other. I would love to see a sequel that continued with these characters and this world, there is so much more that could be told.
