Texas Winter - RJ Scott I really enjoyed seeing Riley and Jack again and looked forward to seeing where they lives were headed and how they were handling their relationship a year later. The beginning of the book was good as you get familiar again with them and where they are at now. Then all of a sudden there is a child, not that I minded a child being put into the story, but an 8 year old that in all honesty with everything that has gone on in her life is too well adjusted for her age. Then with that going on, all of sudden there is the storyline with the FBI which was just thrown in and rushed through with not a whole lot of explanation and really didn't add any drama to the story and kind of fell flat for me. There were parts of the book that had sweet and tender moments and I enjoyed the book for the most part, but was not what I had envisioned after reading and loving the first one.
