Mexican Heat - Josh Lanyon, Laura Baumbach I began this story with high hopes after reading reviews of this book. I struggled a little bit with the beginning of the book because a lot of the mob/cartel stuff and the undercover agent aspect just wasn't believable to me. I really loved Miguel/Antonio and his whole persona and sexiness, however the switching his name halfway through the book I found annoying. I did not like Gabriel, I found him immature and childish and very undeserving of Antonio. The character of Gina just added nothing to this story and I found her more annoying that Gabriel. While the writing and pacing of the story was good, this book just fell flat for me.
