I haven't really read any fantasy books so this one was a little strange for me to read in the beginning and I hadn't expected to enjoy it as much as I did. I know this was sort of a Beauty and the Beast type story, it was still unique and enjoyable to read. I liked the characters and the snarkiness. I think what I like the most is that even though there was a happy ending, it was far from perfect.
